This rug arrived very dirty. I was so disappointed. It definitely did not get shipped in new condition.
I purchased this rug to use in my kitchen. It looks great in my space and goes with a nearly all white room!
I purchased the navy 9x12. I love the look and texture of this rug. Its a dark navy. When I first unrolled it I actually thought it was black, but once I got it on the floor I saw that I was indeed navy. I do have a non slip pad underneath it, but the pad is much smaller than the rug and weve had no issues with the rug shifting. I assume thats because its under my couch... There are a couple of issues that keep me from giving it 5 stars. First, the rug arrived with a couple of stains on it. Obviously its a rag rug and there are different colors of cream mixed together, but these were actual stains that had to have occurred after the rug was made. Perhaps someone bought and returned it previously. We decided to keep it because the stains are minor and I didnt want to deal with exchanging it when more than likely it will have new stains on it next month from my own kids :) Second, there are flecks of multicolor in a few different places. A previous reviewer noted this as well. Not a huge deal, but if you are particular this will annoy you. Third, this is my first rag rug so take this comment with a grain of salt, but the individual rag ends poke out quite a bit. Some of them were more bothersome than others so I took a screwdriver and tucked them back in, but it seems like maybe if they used longer rags this wouldnt happen. I am concerned it wont age well and Ill have some holes in the rug within a year. I know that seems like a lot of negatives, but I only list them to make buyers aware. Overall I love the look of the rug, the price was great, its comfortable (such a better texture to walk on than carpet rugs!). With free returns at rugs.com, might as well try it out! Ill include some photos of the issues. Pay no mind to the drab room... were still moving in and its a work in progress!
RUG WAS LEFT IN MY SIDE YARD IN THE RAIN STILL DRYING OUT AND BADLY STAINED AND COMPANY DID NOTHING
Initially I really liked this rug but after only about a month it's falling apart. The white threads that weave over and under the rags and hold the rug together are somehow breaking and the rug is pulling apart. I know this rug gets really good reviews... but I wonder if it's from people who haven't had the rug for long. Or perhaps smaller sizes of the rug have less of a problem (I bought a 9x12). Returning seems like such a hassle and I do love the look of the rug otherwise, so I'm probably going to try to figure out a way to fix it. At this price, I didn't necessarily expect TOP QUALITY, but this is really really poor workmanship.
